You'll need a new upper to lower intake manifold gasket and egr gasket if you pull the upper intake. It'll take you a half hour to hour to label everything and take it all apart. Might be able to pull the fuel rail w/o messing with the intake manifold. I haven't tried that though. Someone might chime in with some better solution. ….
